Throughout this three-hour workshop participants will focus on:
- Identify characteristics of effective business writing.
- Discuss the importance of following the four Cs.
- Practice and discuss ways to eliminate excess wording, improve tone, and correct punctuation.
- Discuss the impact of tone on the reader and revise wordy sentences.
- Discuss situations which are appropriate and inappropriate for e-mail.
- Review guidelines for writing an effective email.
- Apply learning by critiquing and revising a document.
