Biography

Hi! My name is Anna Pustejovsky. I come from a large family of 11 and live in a small town called Geneseo in Illinois where I was homeschooled my entire life. I decided it would be best to start my college journey at a community college before transitioning to a larger university. My plan is to earn an Associate in Science degree at the Quad-Cities Campus and then transfer to Southern Illinois University to pursue a degree in forest management. In my free time, I enjoy baking, hiking and fishing on the family tree farm where I practice my forest management skills with my family. Fun fact, I grew up on a tree farm where my father taught my siblings and I how to identify plants and invasive species. My father also taught me how to manage a forest and when to decide when a tree is ready to harvest.
