Explore new ideas and engage in lively discussions at CommUniversity in February.
CommUniversity is a series of Sunday afternoon seminars taught by local experts in arts/humanities, personal enrichment, regional studies and theology/spirituality. It’s a friendly learning atmosphere with no exams or papers to write!
Most CommUniversity classes will be offered in-person at the Quad-Cities Campus with two classes offered virtually.
Participants select ONE class that will meet Sundays, Feb. 2-23, from 2-4 p.m.
Choose from more than 20 classes such as:
- American Sign Language
- Basic Spanish
- Cassandra, Or What Troy Can Teach Us
- Culture, Faith and Cuisine: A Tour of Islam and Muslims Around the World
- Disciples of the Disciples: The Writings of the Apostolic Fathers
- Have Fun, Play the Ukulele!
- Navigating the Digital World
- Photography: Black and White or Color?
- Rock Island County: Transformation to Settled Land
- Writing the Amazing One-Act Play!
Cost is $40. The registration deadline is Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025.
