Black Hawk College East Campus hosted the 2020 Lincoln Trail Conference Scholastic Bowl Meet on Saturday, Jan. 25.
The event pits students from different high schools against each other to answer questions from a variety of categories, such as history, literature, mathematics, music and science.
More than 130 high school students from 11 schools in the Lincoln Trail Conference competed in nine, 45-minute rounds.
1st place – Mercer County HS
2nd place – Galva HS
3rd place – ROWVA HS
4th place – United HS
The Top 4 teams were:
- 1st place/Conference Champions – Mercer County
- 2nd place – Galva
- 3rd place – ROWVA
- 4th place – United
The other participating schools were AlWood, Annawan, Cambridge, Princeville, Stark County, West Central and Wethersfield.
