Two Black Hawk College honor societies recently hosted a joint, in-person induction ceremony for their respective new members.
Psi Beta is the national honor society in psychology for community colleges, and Sigma Kappa Delta is the English honor society for two-year colleges.
The inductees come from both Black Hawk College campuses.
The Psi Beta inductees by hometown are:

Sigma Kappa Delta inductees have earned an A or B in an English course, have completed at least 12 credit hours, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students do not have to be English majors.
Psi Beta inductees have earned an A or B in a psychology course, have completed at least 12 credit hours, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students do not have to be psychology majors.
