A group of children cooking food College for Kids (CFK) is a one-week enrichment program that offers students a chance to explore their interests and learn something new in a collaborative environment. Students will experience fun, hands-on learning beyond their ordinary school environment. CFK’s interactive classes include topics such as art, theater, language, math, technology, science and social studies.

PaCE has proudly offered College for Kids for over 40 years! Our goal is to develop and expand a student’s interest, stimulate creativity, and provide a unique learning experience.

Eligibility

The program is designed for students who are entering 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grades for the upcoming school year. Initial eligibility is determined by meeting at least one of the following criteria:

The most recent achievement score at the 90th percentile or above on one of the following:

  • Reading total
  • -or- Math total
  • -or- Social Studies
  • -or- Science
  • -or- The most recent ability test score at the 90th percentile or above.

Once a student qualifies and attends College for Kids, they are eligible through 9th grade.

Because students are identified by their schools, parents may address questions about test scores with the child’s school principal.

Registration

Once eligibility is verified, classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Every effort will be made to enroll the student in classes.
