Fork Truck Operator Safety and Driving Training is crucial for aspiring forklift operators. This comprehensive program includes classroom sessions focusing on the 29 CFR 1910.178 OSHA standard, covering forklift types, pre-operation checks, safe driving practices, stability and load handling techniques. Following the classroom instruction, students engage in hands-on driving practice to reinforce their learning. Upon successful completion, students receive a valuable Certificate of Completion from the college, indicating their readiness to operate a fork truck. To earn this certificate, students must demonstrate their knowledge by passing the written test with at least 80% accuracy and successfully complete the performance driving evaluation.
