Transfer GPA

2.0 recommended if less than 24 transfer credits are earned

Minimum college credits to apply as transfer student

Apply as a transfer student if you’ve completed high school, home school, or a GED program and have earned (or will earn) college credit at a college or university before your first day at Columbia. This excludes dual enrollments (including Summer at Columbia) and/or any college or university enrollment completed during the summer immediately following high school or GED completion

Application deadlines

The 2024 application is scheduled to open on Sept. 5. Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis so it is to your advantage to complete your application as early as possible.

Guaranteed Transfer Admission Program

Guaranteed admission to Columbia’s Bachelor of Arts degree programs.

  • 24 transferable credits; 2.5 GPA on all transferable coursework taken at BHC; passed ENG 101 and ENG 102 with ‘C’ or better; college-level math proficiency; and finished high school or earned a GED.
  • 2.75 GPA qualifies for the admission scholarship which is renewable annually. A higher GPA and/or a completed associate degree qualify for increased scholarship amounts.
