Introducing myBHC

How to access myBHC and new Outlook email

Students: Part of the new portal is your new Outlook email which is also ready to use. You will need it to login to myBHC.

Duo security is required. If you don’t already have Duo, set up information is available here.
Access myBHC web portal.
Choose Student & Employee Login.
If this is your first time logging into myBHC:
- Click on “First-time Students click here for Login” and follow the instructions.
- Username is your current myBlackHawk username plus “@student.bhc.edu” (Example: jdoe2 is now jdoe2@student.bhc.edu)
- Click on Return to myBHC.
If you are returning after first time use:
- Enter your username and password.
To access email, click on the myBHC Email icon.

While we are moving away from myBlackHawk, it is still available for you to access your official college email and other Google data until May 30.

Official college email will continue to be sent to your myBlackHawk mymail until the official switch-over date, to be announced at a later date.

Both email accounts will be available during the transition period.

*IMPORTANT* Your College @mymail.bhc.edu Gmail, Google Drive document storage, Calendar, and Contacts will not be available after May 30, 2024.

If you would like to save any of these data, please follow the instruction links below to extract your data and import into your College Outlook account prior to May 30, 2024.
If your username for non-College systems is currently your @mymail.bhc.edu, you are highly encouraged to change it to your personal email account.

Canvas is accessible from both myBHC and myBlackHawk as well as the Canvas app.
Either myBHC or myBlackHawk usernames/passwords can be used. The default email in Canvas will remain Gmail/mymail for a few weeks.
Official college email and the default email in Canvas will be switched to Outlook at the same time.
Canvas email (inbox) is still available within Canvas.
