Student-athletes from all eight Black Hawk College teams have been named to the Athletic Director’s Academic List for achieving a 3.25 GPA or higher during the Spring 2023 semester.
The 54 student-athletes on the list represent 44% of BHC players. To qualify for the list, student-athletes must have completed at least 12 credit hours.
The golf team had the highest percentage of players on the list – 86% of the team achieved a 3.25 GPA or higher for the semester.
Next was the softball team with 71% then the baseball team with 56% of players on the list.
“This group embodies everything it is to be a student-athlete. For that, I am appreciative and proud,” said Arnie Chavera, BHC athletic director.
“Their commitment to their classroom performance will pay dividends in the future,” he said.
