Highway construction class 10 grads 5-31-18Congratulations the recent graduates of the Highway Construction Careers Training Program (HCCTP)!

Six students had perfect attendance for the 13-week program – Carmona, Copeland, Gosa, Leemans, Rosas and Stone.

Rodriguez and Jones left the program early to accept apprenticeships.

The 450-hour program aims to increase the number of minorities, women and disadvantaged individuals working on Illinois Department of Transportation highway construction projects. There is no cost to participants who are accepted into the program.

The next HCCTP begins Monday, Aug. 13. Interested students must attend one orientation session June 21, June 26, June 28 or June 29. Register for orientation online or contact Paul Fessler at 309-796-5729 or fesslerp@bhc.edu.
