Best Study Locations on Campus
Studying is a necessity for college students, but sometimes it can be hard to find spaces to study in. However, there is no need to worry because we have 5 study locations for you to try!
- The library
- The library is probably the first location that comes to mind when you think about studying because it is the best place to study! The BHC Library is quiet, spacious and resourceful. There are books, computers and enclosed study rooms to use. The study rooms are “first come, first serve” and are great to use to study with a group.
- Hawk’s Nest
- The Hawk’s Nest in Building 4 of the Quad-Cities Campus is known for the fun and food provided from the events hosted there. When the hustle and bustle of events die down, this area on the second floor becomes a perfectly peaceful space to study in. Additionally, you can hear the sounds of music coming from the BHC choirs and band practicing on the first floor. So, if you like to study while listening to tunes then this is the study location for you!
- Building 1 conference rooms
- These rooms are a little harder to find as they are hidden near staff offices in Building 1 of the Quad-Cities Campus. These conference rooms are open to students who want to study without any background noise.
- Building 3, Room 315 computer lab
- Since Building 3 has re-opened, the amount of study locations has increased. On the third floor of Building 3 at the Quad-Cities Campus, there is a computer lab that can be used to study and work on assignments when classes in the computer lab are not in session. Students are able to use the computers in the computer lab, too.
- Building 3 booths
- This study location is a Marketing Ambassador favorite. It is located near the bookstore vending machine on the third in Building 3 of the Quad-Cities Campus. However, this space is limited as there are only two booths.
