Golden trophy on pile of books in front of blackboardBlack Hawk College hosted the 2025 Lincoln Trail Conference Scholastic Bowl Meet on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the East Campus.

The event pits students from different high schools against each other to answer questions from a variety of categories such as history, literature, mathematics, music and science.

Eleven high school teams in the Lincoln Trail Conference competed in nine, 45-minute rounds.

Out of 72 competitors, the Top 10 individual scorers were:

  • 1st – Logan Washburn, ROWVA High School
  • 2nd – Ravin Morey, Annawan High School
  • 3rd – Andy Zueger, Bureau Valley High School
  • 4th – Caleb Christenson, Princeville High School
  • 5th – Will Clark, Princeville High School
  • 6th – Drew Sherbyn, Annawan High School
  • 7th – Gabe Wilfong, AlWood High School
  • 8th – Devin Reed, AlWood High School
  • 9th – MaKayla Craig, Galva High School
  • 10th – Jackson Wagy, Monmouth United High School

The Top 4 teams were:

  • 1st/Conference Champions – ROWVA High School
  • 2nd – Annawan High School
  • 3rd – Bureau Valley High School
  • 4th – Princeville High School
