Your Future in Health Sciences Begins at BHC
The Health Sciences department at Black Hawk College prepares students for a variety of fulfilling careers in healthcare, including physical therapist assistants, surgical technologists and occupational therapist assistants. Graduates have the opportunity to work in various settings such as hospitals, nursing homes and physicians’ offices. The department offers internships for practical experience and access to state-of-the-art facilities like the Health Sciences Center with specialized labs and a forensics lab. Students can also benefit from department-specific scholarships.
